Why are the Crash Bandicoot games still unavailable for Vita in the US?

The US Playstation site explicitly lists Crash Bandicoot 2 as being compatible with PS Vita.

http://us.playstation.com/games/crash-bandicoot-2-ps3-psp.html

But it's not. You can't download it for Vita and you can't transfer it from your PS3 either on a US account.

So, that page has wrong information. But the bigger issue is that all of the Crash games are Vita compatible in other regions, but not the US. There are plenty other PSOne games like Spyro that US Vita owners can't play on their system.

Should I give up hope for my favorite PSOne classics to appear on Vita? Crash 1-3 and CTR are among my favorite games of all time and I have been excited about the prospect of playing them on Vita basicaly since Vita was announced. Their absence from the US store is no small omission.

Yes, you can transfer them from PS3. Download them, then transfer over. My cousin did it just fine.
