Why are people not buying PS3 because of its look?

This kind of confuses me. Its like saying: PS3 stats are going to be slightly better (not AMAZINGLY fascinating like our real life PS3) than ps2, but it will look really cool so you should buy it.

I couldn't really care less what it looks like or how big it is. I won't be looking at it or holding it when I'm playing games.

thats what I say. But some other people are like "ps3 sucks because its ugly and the controller is f'd up"

its just thier immature reasons that annoy me. But in the end, its up to them to get what system they want more.

The ONLY problem I have with xbox is paying for online.

I even heard socom 3 was going to xbox 360 in the near future, but its just a rumor.

I think both the Xbox and the PS3 (sans controller*) are stunningly beautiful. I think people just aren't quite ready for that look yet, a bit too avant-garde for them perhaps. Anyhow, people will get used to the look and it will begin to grow on them and their opinions will change real quick. Silly humans, so fickle and flibbertigibbetish.

*I don't really want to knock the controller until I try it. Who knows, maybe it's functionality is like no other. The aesthetics I can overcome if so.
