Sure again its no direct from sony and isnt clear until we get the official word from Sony, though known insider (according to Gematsu) Thuway has stated on NeoGAF that there are “games in development that are using 6GB of RAM.”

And again killzone developer has come out and siad they a had used 4 at first but recently siad they now are at 6gb so this again shows mainstream media isnt facts but just fun rumors to speculate about nothing to get so mad over. Media just trying to makeup stuff to try and get sony in the hot seat and everytime sony comes out even more victorious unlike micr$oft haha

Ive seen a lot of worry / trolling on both teams about the " leaked rumor" of how Much Ram is used by the PS4 OS.

Is it overkill? Of course it is the OS will not need that much RAM at launch.... but they expect to get 10 years out of these consoles so they HAVE to leave resources available for upgrades and new features.

I also see a lot of people using Killzone as a vocal point because the devs said they used 4.5GB of RAM... If you have not noticed its a Launch title. Those never optimize properly because its brand new hardware

As example the ps3 has 256/256mb and one of its bigger launch games was Call of Duty 3..... Fast forward to devs getting better and using that same hardware you can play Battlefield 3 and others.

im just not seeing why there is so much concern. The PS4 is amazing hardware the most powerful gaming console ever made and some people are worried that devs can only use upwards of 4.5 GB of GDDR5

in Closing I leave you to ponder this.

Battlefield 3 , The last of us = 256mb DDR3

PS4, 4.5/5.5GB GDDR5

Not a rumor, was directly from sonys mouths.

Photobucket

1TB 7200RPM Destop HDD Under it's own power outside of the ps3 :smileytongue:
