This game previously being ported to Ios before coming to a REAL portable game system hopefully will blaze the trail for another great fighter that's been ported to everything BUT handheld systems: King Of Fighters XIII.
And I really wouldn't get my hopes up on the 3g thing: All I ever hear from my co-workers with 3 and 4g internet is "Speed sucks, slower than wifi". Fighting games are data-intensive, moving a lot of info per second (or per FRAME, and this game is 60fps)...can you imagine eating low short/jab into a meaty half-life cross combo just because of a second's lag? I don't think you'd want to play if that kept happening.
The only reason i ask is because the websites i read but i would really like to know fromsomeone who has it and has tried it on 3g
Heh funny you could just check the PSN Vita games page, it tells you. I guess it does work on 3G, if Hot Shots Golf can this can.
"Playing at home or on the streets, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 Cross-Play lets Street Fighter X Tekken players compete anytime, anywhere, against anyone… either locally, with 3G or via Wi-Fi."
Official PSN Street Fighter X Tekken page link and the info there -
i careless about the game i just want to know about the data used to play online with 3g?
All depends on the carrier. You don't have to use AT&T with it, I know others have used other carriers just fine with more reasonable plans.
Considering about almost everyone caps your speeds, I personally don't see 3G ever being used heavily for online games, unless you can find a plan with no caps or can afford the overages. Still they will greatly reduce your speed at least here, if you hit your cap.
