Which Squaresoft PSone Classics Have Slowdown issues?

3 replies 101 views Edited Dec 1, 2012

I'm ready to purchase some PSOne Classics, mainly some of Squaresoft's older Final Fantasy games (SNES and older) for some nostalgia sake. But before I make the purchase, I want to know if the slowdown issues are in which games.

I know they are in Chrono Trigger and FFVI, but what about FFV and FF Origins?

Also one of my favorite games of all time, Final Fantasy Tactics. I still have a working Playstation and the working disc.

1) Do I just play it on the Playstation?

2) Do I pop the disc into the PS3 and play?

3) Do I download it from the PSN store?

Just about all PS1 games run exactly the same on the PS3.

You already seem to be aware of the issues...  The (originally) SNES games that were ported to PS1 have slow load times.  All games from FF4 to FF6 and Chrono Trigger.  I'm not sure about FF1 and FF2 but I don't think those are in the PSN store anyway.
