Where is Monster Hunter???

31 replies 1711 views Edited Oct 19, 2012
Where is Monster Hunter for the Vita? I've never even played a MH game, I just want the Vita to succeed and I know this game is the ticket. It single handedly sold millions of PSPs in Japan. Now the 3DS has it and is also getting the next game in the series. What gives, did Nintendo sign an exclusive agreement? I know Soul Sacrifice is a similar type game, but I think if the Vita could just get a MH game out it would open the flood gates for ststem sales in Japan and we'd see alot more software support after. Anyone know what the deal is?

new one is coming to 3ds and wiiu, i want it badly for vita as well however ive come to learn capcom has turned to nintendo's beetch. So i just accept that and play mhfu from psp on vita, and play the mh from the wii on a wii emulator on my pc.

edit1 : Capcom stated that the timing of the 3ds was ideal for them and is why they aimed for that version with their next release, though imo i think was just a blow off for them really having only interest in nintendo

Soul Sacrifice is our Monster hunter.

Cause in the end, your STILL fighting/hunting monsters a billion times your size, just like Monster Hunter.

I get that and I hope SS has the same impact that MH did, but MH is a proven instant success. Does anyone know why there hasn't been a MH announced for Vita?

something only capcom knows. no one has asked this either. what I would ask if i could. Capcom why haven't a MH title been annouced for the vita? Capcom do you have any interest to make a MH title for the ps vita at any time?

There won't be, look at Capcom's releases. It's obvious they've shifted focus to Nintendo. Naturally, lots of money must've been involved but that's Sony's fault for no securing strong third party support. One thing's for sure, you won't be seeing Monster Hunter on the PSV for a really long while. If ever~.
