What size TV are you playing your games on?

This matters!!! Next gen is here and HDTVs are far more affordable than they were when the PS3 came out. This is very evident by the fact the PS4 comes with HDMI cables and the PS3 didn't. However there is still another element to face. Size of your TV and how far/close you sit away from it. Really anything under a 46" tv (unless its 4K or under 240HZ) will run games at lower resolutions and frame rates with relative ease. You won't really be able to notice smaller things like jaggies and draw distance to the effect that you would on larger or crisper tvs.

What size/brand/hz tv are you running?

If you aren't running 55+ or 4K or 240Hz then really you shouldn't have strong complaints about 1080 vs 900 vs 792 vs 720... These will probably all look about the same on the other tvs and your main concern should be about gameplay and performance of the software. Those of us with larger tvs have to worry about both and it gets pretty bad once you hit 4K and 60-100" Tvs. Games like Watch Dogs, Destiny, The Division, Batman, Evolve, The Crew, Drive Club, Uncharted 4, God of War (PS4), Gran Turismo will look abysmal on these TVs if they don't get on the ball and start making the best possible resolutions they can make. 700-900 just isn't going to cut it.

Im curious to know what you guys are playing on....

37" Vizio

I play a game like GTA V on PS 3 and then go to like Battlefield 4 on PS 4 and I can certainly notice a difference. Even at 900p on the PS 4 Battlefield 4 the image quality just seems so much more sharper.

A barebones Magnavox 42". It does not have motion enhancements or any picture enhancements at all, so I find the display to have little-to-no input lag.

I also game sometimes on a LG IPS234 23" monitor.

I am currently using a 25" HP LCD 1080p monitor for my ps4.

A couple years ago i had a 55" 240hz 3d led tv from toshiba. I know alot of people say under a certain size you cant tell a difference...Wll i can honestly say that statement is BS because the picture quality  especially the hd quality was by far better.. This monitor is terrible.

and i honestly respect that and can see both sides of the argument but at what point DO you care about graphics? PS6 looking like PS2 games? you still don't care? i doubt you will be saying the same thing. the only reason why movies are shot in imax and tvs are now coming in 4K is because people DO care about how things look. you dont expect your new 5000 dollar tv to look like an old black and white rabbit ears tv..
