Mine's a 42" Samsung, 1080p, no idea on the Hz, and it's a fabulous gaming TV. After reading a few of your posts, though, I kind of want to experiment with sitting a little closer; I catch myself squinting from time to time at the distance I currently have my armchair. I'd guess I'm around ten feet away or so.

i cant figure out where i saw a chart but somewhere it says the size vs how far back you should sit. 10 feet sounds about right or a lil closer.

I rock a Sony KDS-60A3000 1080P 60" DLP  it has pixel match 1080 but it has some overscan.  When I bought it I didn't know it had the overscan or I would have waited and bought something 1080 with full res.

I also have a 42" 1080i plazma that has a lot of video lag and is why I dont like using it for gaming but works good for a PS3 with a broke blu-ray drive to use for youtube or games that the lag isn't that big of a issue.

I play on a 42" plasma also a 24" oled monitor . The 24" monitor is great for multiplayer high refresh rate minimal input lag . I use it for my gaming pc as well.

Just bought a new Samsung 40" smart tv (led) a few weeks ago. I love it! My old one is still set up for older games, but it is a 27" LCD, while I also have a 38" lcd in the living room as well. It's mostly for movies and the wii though.
