What should I do?

5 replies 83 views Edited Oct 26, 2012

So I was deleting some old game data of games I used to have and when I chose to delete one it kept saying "Deleting......... please wait" for nearly an hour. Can I turn off my PS3? Or will it break it?

Re start your system and try again. If the same problem occurs, just don't delete that particular file.

I'd wait. Turning it off while it's hard drive is working could cause corruption trouble.

I don't care if that particular game data gets corrupted. As long as the whole HDD doesn't.

That's what I'm saying you could corrupt your hard drive. You could also get away with it. Personally I wouldn't gamble.
