What is the best version of the PS3 to get?

19 replies 392 views Edited Jun 1, 2013

Been looking into getting the 320 gb one... but I want to make sure that it's a good choice.

What version is least likely to have any issues like overheating?

Any help would be great -- thanks Smiley Happy.

A new one. Because it will come with a warranty.

That's what I was planning to do. I never get anything game system wise used. Same with my ipod. Don't really trust anything that's refurbished.

I own the 500gb all white superslim since March. Not one problem and the system is super quite.

Cool. Heard that the newer versions of the PS3 weren't as sturdy. Did you get an older model or one like this one

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the super slim model. I have it and had no problems with it so far. It also runs alot cooler than the other models.

Ah. Heard from someone on another board who liked the other slim model better. Glad it runs cooler.

each system is made different..

i.e the 120gb slims were made cheaper then the 250gb limited edition i have..

the 120's from walmart were junk, always froze always did something...

i got the 250gb le after taking 5 120's back..

i have had only 1 problem with my 250gb system.. And that was it didn't have enough space or speed, so i bought a 750gb 6gbs 7200rpm sata 3 sshd (hybrid)... And yes it does make the system load faster and run smoother....
