I was wondering what kind of Ps4 headset should I buy? and does anyone know when the next firmware update might happen?

You really can't go wrong with either PlayStation Pulse headsets for gaming. I personally use a Turtle Beach headset for both PS3 and PS4 and have absolutely loved it.

What kind of money are you looking to spend? Generally you want to stay away from "Gamer" headsets. There are only a couple I can recommend because of the price such as the Skullcandy PLYR1 which is $130 at Best Buy or the Astro A30's with the wireless Mixamp 5.8 which is $110 on Microsofts store. Definately stay away from the Sony Pulse as well as these new Sony Golds.

If you have some cash to spend though, I can open you up to some amazing setups.

For right now I just use a pair of Tritton Kunai that I plug into the DS4. It's only stereo, but the sound quality is fantastic. Once they patch it so the Pulse will work are there's a new headset I'll probably re-evaluate my headset choice then. For now the Trittons are great.

I see you always say the same thing to every post asking about this headset, you even replied to mine! better have a copy and paste of this post and  save it to notepad and just post it whenever this thread comes up.

I could swear there was like 3 threads about this today.. cant you people search -_-

Well its pretty apparent that nobody here uses the search button unfortunatly.

But when I see a headset thread, I'm definately going to bite because I enjoy helping people on the subject. Maybe one day I'll write a faq and ask the mods nicely to sticky it.
