Honestly, for anyone still illusioned about people with 20+ plats, please keep in mind 8 of those almost always include the 3 God of War games, 3 Sly Cooper Games, Terminator Salvation and Hannah Montana. Those are all ridiculously easy and nothing to be proud of.
What's wrong with the Platinum Trophies in the Sly Cooper or God of War games? I have a Plat for 2 Sly Games (although they were relatively easy, still took time) and a Plat in the first 2 God of War games (those were harder).
The God of War games were not easy Platinums for me. I will never have the one for God of War III because the hardest mode is out of my league. You will not see Terminator nor Hannah Montana listed in my list of games.

- Skyrim (easy but annoying and time consuming)
- inFamous (easy but finding that last blasted shard sucked)
- inFamous 2
- Fallout 3 (easy)
- Fallout: New Vegas (easy)
- Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (actually earned this twice. Did the hardest mode for my Daughter plus finding the bolts and Zoni)
- Nier (my 1st Plat)
Granted half of these were more time consuming than actually difficult, but just because one person finds a game easy doesn't mean others don't. I know people who can breeze through God of War with no issues. I can't. Playing on Crushing! in Uncharted was hard for me. I wanted to give up many times because I'd die so often. Others have no trouble with that. Same with both Mass Effect games.

Yes, when you earn trophies on one version of Motorstorm RC, they unlock on both versions (2 plats for the effort of 1).
And yes, some plats are "easy", but for people with full time jobs and little time for gaming, it makes some of the more time consuming games a little more satisfying.
