Can't wait. Strangers Wrath tomorrow Dec. 18th. Munch's Odyssey in February, and New 'n' Tasty due out at the end of 2013. Can't wait.
They start talking about the games being rolled out and on what platforms around the 37 minute mark. Also has some footage of New 'n' Tasty a few minutes after that.
Edit: I wanted to add this from today's Oddworld Playstation Blog.
Like the PS3 version before it, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD features high-quality graphical assets, better textures and high poly models. But this isn’t a lazy port… The game makes use of PS Vita’s touchscreen and rear touchpad for added controls and runs at the native screen resolution to give you a genuine Vita experience.

Tomorrow will the be the first ever good first person shooter on the vita, I am getting it, but I have to beat Uncharted first to get rid of that 3 GB on my memory card.

Download size is said to be 1.4GB.
As far as why I like it. Smooth controls, colorful like most old school platformers, entertaining dialog, and like any Oddworld game an interesting story line. I also like the change up from having different guns, instead you have different kinds of ammo to be used in interesting ways.
Below is the original games metacritic from XBox. You may find some other information in others reviews there. They have both site reviews and user reviews there. Youtube probably has some video reviews of the PS3 and XBox versions, if you want to have a look.

I guess I'll pick it up eventually. Is it just a shooter or can you trade out weapons?

Aw man this is soo cool. No offense but Abe's Odyssey was always my favorite. I really can't wait to play it again on the Vita.

It is a timeless classic. Nothing else needs to be said and you need to play them all. Bottom line ![]()
