Watch the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan press conference 2014 tomorrow

18 replies 807 views Edited Aug 31, 2014

Over in Tokyo tomorrow, our colleagues at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan are holding a media briefing to showcase some of the great titles and services heading to that region later this year and into next. While we ask you to bear in mind that not everything showcased is confirmed for release outside of the SCEJA region at present, any early birds among you who want to tune in and watch the presentation can do so – in English – at the Ustream event page.

The conference begins at 3.00pm Tokyo time – that’s 7.00am BST/8.00am CET on Monday morning, and you can follow along on Twitter using the hashtag ##PlayStation0901. Enjoy!

Hopefully they'll announce more features for firmware 2.0?

I hope so. It would be nice to be able to change the background, and make folders. Also it would be cool if they let us use the touch pad as a mouse for the internet browser.

If there was ever any doubt as to how the PS4 was going to do in Japan, this conference should have erased them. The PS4 for has a LOT of titles in development that are targeted directly at the Japanese audience. Persona 5 was announced as well as some other very good looking games. The Tokyo Game show is going to be bigger than E3 I think. Also, it looks like someone forgot to inform SCEJA that the PS Vita was dead! Looks like they are making a ton of games for it.

Isn't the Vita doing much better in Japan than in the West?
