WOW Sony NEEDS to get their **bleep** together

I recently got Dragon's Dogma as a late bday present and I can't even fully enjoy it because of the recent issues with the PSN suddenly having a HUGE decrease in download speeds.

It says it's gonna take over 40 min for an 11mb update patch to download... are you **bleep** kidding me!?!?!? that is unacceptable. I have VERY fast internet, I get 30+ mbps download speeds on my laptop.

I can't even get the patch to fully download, it gets to about 10% then it says there's an error with the download and gives me an error code. I have tried 3 different times now and one time it said, and I **bleep** you not, the 11MB update patch (I cannot stress that enough) was gonna take 1,543 minutes to download.

I know for a FACT this is a PSN issue and NOT my internet, because my laptop, 360, Wii, 3DS, and iPad are all perfectly fine in terms of speeds and connections, it's ONLY my PS3, PSP, and PS Vita that are having these issues.

This is highly aggravating and I wish Sony would pay attention to their customers, I have been asking around ane everyone says when they call Sony keeps telling them it's a fault on the customer's end... well it's clearly not, otherwise it wouldn't just be SONY systems having this issue. It has been like this since last Thursday (9/13/12)

Edit: removed profanity

Well, who is tall, handsome, has two thumbs and no problems with internet on his 2 PS3's, Vita, PSP, and PSPgo?

*points at self with thumbs*

This guy! So the problem is likely on your end. The speed you are told you receive on other devices is not universal.

Edit: Shoulda asked: Is your connection wired, or is it wifi?

It could be that whatever path your internet signal is taking to communicate with PSN is encountering a bottleneck. I'm sure if you try it again at a different time, things should clear up...

Doesn't mean no one is. You should slow yourself there, mister. You keep posting about how you're not having problems, but you're .not. everyone.

Just saying.

But he speaks for the majority. The OP makes it sound like it's some sort of life ruining pandemic.

It's not.

The majority of people with PlayStation consoles don't have these issues.
