When playing Call of Duty (or similar) you can hear where the footsteps are coming from.
The audio "sounds like" it is coming from inside your head, rather than from the headphones themselves.
Long enough cable to reach across a large room (you can use bluetooth if you wish, but don't come crying to me when millions of you develop brain-cancer).
Do they get better sound than the Sony wireless Bluetooth headset?
Um,,,, Mine is a Sony, but in the event you were addressing someone else, YES, any full headset gets better sound.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have 7.1 surround in my ears, so I can hear a cricket squeak as someone tries to sneak up behind me, but I just can;t spend that much cabbage on it.
I hear the Turtle Beach Headsets are phenomenal, but then again they cost up to $350.
SO it is all in the value. If you think you would use it, then it is worth it. If you are a casual online player like me, it does not justify the cost. I have surround sound in the living room and use the ear piece for communication, such as it is.

Although it is not perfect every time, these guys are at least playing with strategy and cooperation.
I wouldn't spend that much money on a headphone, for that I've invested on a surround sound system. What I seek on a headphone is nothing less than good stereo sound, comfort, independent volume control for voice & game audio, good mic and noise cancellation.
Turtle Beach prices the PX21 at $79.95 but I got it $20 less at Walmart. They recently released what seems to be the PX21's successor the PX22. This versjion offers all the features found on the PX21 plus introduces the capability of connecting your cellphone or MP3 player [wired] allowing you to listen to your game, voice chat with team mates and/or talk to your lady Now that would be multitasking
