I found it curious that the manual refers to version 1.50  of the OS for the PS Vita. You would think the launch OS would be 1.0...

I'm glad the battery will be replaceble although it might be a little bit of a hassle.

Of course it is replacable, just as the PSPgo's is. You just need to send it away or be willing to risk ruining your PSVita if you do not know what you are doing.

um....lol   i guess it is replaceable..  but what about not having to void the  warranty??

like the psp?  just slip in and out ?

if you have to actually open the system itself.... :/

sorry i guess the word i should use is Changeable??  Easily Changeable ?  (like the previous psp 1000-3000)

Good to see that the battery is replaceable. Because it is (and needs to be) quite large to power it for several hours, making it user replaceable would likely make the Vita even thicker....

this is where it will be sketchy...

if it's like the old psp.. where you can just buy official battery and change the old one for the new one..

with the psvita. you have to open up the system...   i'm assuming it's one of those not for your consumer type of things..  so i guess the parts will not be at your local store...  and  on ebay instead??   since if that's how they chang the battery for VITA .. the it's a replacement part then...

lol.. it's going to be funny when some idiots is trying to replace his ps vita battery with cheap chinese fake batteries and it blows  up...

i'm not sure if everyone aware of this.. but

CHINESE PS VITA ... yeah.. the chinese have their own mock up version

**during my last trip to asia.. i got my hands on their mock up psp version.. . and wow.... it's really funny!!

This is somewhat simular to changing a DS3 battery. While it is user replaceable, the batteries aren't available in the stores, and I expect the same will be for the Vita's battery...
