Vita Game Memory

2 replies 78 views Edited Jan 21, 2013
I noticed that u have to install vita games from the cartridge... Is it installing game and and if so, how much memory does the average vita game use?

Just wonderin because a 4gb card would hardly hold anything... it would have to store the save data plus the save date?

Compared to a 3ds that only has to hold the save data and u don't have to install their game data.

Most games only install a very small file on the memory card (usually around 50-100MB, the box the game came in will inform you how much space it needs), basically to assist in improving load times.  Game Saves for most games also take up a small bit of space on your memory card.

It just installs the icon on your home screen , that's all I know of but DLC and Updates can be huge. I got Call of Duty declassified for Christmas and it had a update which was about 468mb.
