I need HEP!!

[ Edited ]

I installed this new 2.0 update. But ever since then I can't connect to Playstation Network with the WiFi I've been using since I bought my 3G VITA in August. I've tried turning the connection on and off again. But I can't restore my VITA since I need the wifi - which isn't working anymore - to tie my VITA to my PSN account.

I can't even connect to the Internet, despite the Connection Test saying I am connected to the internet.

I've tried going back to 1.81 but can't. I am increasingly frustrated.

Please help.

Re: I need HEP!!

This link still is giving information about the previous update 1.81. I was looking forward to reading the patch notes and details. Anybody know when it will have the recent patch notes?

Also we should be able to scroll horizontal in the web browser with the  rear touch pad. Maybe even zoom in and out too?

...people really need to stop turning molehills into mountains.

Implying a commercial somehow saved Sony when they have always operated the same way ruins any credibility your post may have had and will make everyone gloss over you initial point.

they also have to understand that the storefront does not update to THEIR timezones. even with that in mind the storfront still updated right on time and well within the date they specified .

as for ontopic discussion: back scrolling will not work with the browswer unless i go into setting and recheck its functionaity. it doesnt matter if it is already checked it just ignores the setting until i turn it on again with the browser running

Re: Vita Firmware 2.0 "Official" Discussion Thread.

yup.

and it looks like the wifi on the vita may have been updated with this firmware. i can actually download a gig and a half game from the store on the vita in under a 10 minutes now. before it was pointless and would take upto 400 minutes

no more having to use the ps3 to get them in a timley manner!

I will look into that. Thank you for pointing it out.

Re: I need HEP!!

I want 2.0. I simply can't connect to the internet or PSN as a result.

Does anyone know how to rectify this? I saw in the lead post that some people have similar problems.

Re: I need HEP!!

Very strange. The free games seem to be downloading and installing just fine, but I keep getting a pop-up while in the store that says

"An error has occurred.
(NP-2242-0)"

If I click "Ok" the error goes away and everything proceeds normally.

There seems to be a bug with the "Disconnect Wi-FI Connection Automatically" , it's located in Settings=>Network(=> Near the bottom.) If you EVER had this checked once, now, or at anytime - the wifif funtion/settings get corrupted eventually. A simple reboot of the Vita system fixes the issue. If problem still exists, you may need to totally restart the Vita (Hold Power button + Playstation button, settings should explain - you may need to reinsert your wifi/password).
