Subject line says it all, $20 off 32GB card at the Sony Store.
$79.99 is still too much. You can get a regular 64GB micro SD card for a little less than that. I'm waiting for a 64GB or higher one to come out for the PS Vita and I won't spend more than $100 for it. I have an 8GB one and I surprisingly haven't used it all up yet.
Yeah, I want to support Sony/PSVita, but think the price is still up there. I think seeing a price drop on Sony's site may be a result of not a lot of people buying them. So perhaps if people don't just jump on this, we'll see further price cuts on them. It's not like seeing a normal retailer trying to get rid of their stock after all. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
I was able to find a second 8GB new card for $10 at a local store that sells previously used stuff.
What I really found weird was the reasoning in the price structure. From the places I've shopped you see no kind of price savings going from the lower volume cards to the higher ones. I would think say going from 8GB to 16GB you would see some sort of savings over it.
At launch 8GB/$30, 16GB/$60. No savings, just a straight double in size and price.
What it should have been at launch if they were going to have it more expensive then SD cards 4GB/$15, 8GB/$25 and then 16GB/$45, 32/$80. Then with any sales this time of year it would be lower and more appealing to anyone buying a new Vita and games, and to those that have been holding out for a price drop, or those that just got PS+ and want to go all digital.
Personally I'd rather see them closer to what you'd see for a comparible SD card of that size. I know, I'm preaching to the choir. Just seems weird to me.
Well now, I now feel like a **bleep** for buying mine two weeks ago~. =/
Two weeks ago amazon had it for $80 as well lol.
Well call me a sucker, but i couldn't pass up on this deal again so i finally decided to purchase this offer. Id wait next for a better price but being a Plus member requires a lot of space
