Using two move navgation controllers instead of a dualshock 3?

3 replies 84 views Edited Apr 7, 2013

what if instead of having both hands on a ps3 dualshock3 controller you hold two unconected move navigation controllers. just that on would have the X ,Square ,Circle, Triangle buttons instead of the direction buttons and it would also have the right joystick, R1, R2. random idea i just thought of, being the i am 6 foot 7 and have giant hands i think this would work better for me cause i have such a hard time gripping onto the curret dualshock3 controllers

The navigation controller only has X and Circle buttons, unless you could find a way to map the face buttons to the D-pad.  You would also be lacking both a Start and a Select button.

Add to that, it would be extremely awkward, since the nav controller is actually smaller than the DS3 as far as button spacing goes.

you cant, the nav controller always registers as number 6 or 7 on the ps3, so there will be no 1 player registered in the ps3 and you wont be able to continue until you turn a controller on
