Using PS3 2.0 Bluray remote with Samsung TV...Can't browse samsung menu Options

4 replies 400 views Edited Nov 29, 2012

I was able to get my remote to recognize my TV, but once I hit the "menu" button on my ps3 bluray remote I can go through the menu options to switch to game mode.

When you use the buttons around the "ENTER" button to navigate the menu it keeps changing the stupid channel.

Anyone know a fix around this?  Was hoping to not need my samsung remote at all.  Everything else works fine

No I linked to your other Spam post. It's the correct link. Sticking to one thread may help.

I'm not sure if there is anything you can do, since the Sony remote isn't a learning one.

If you want to invest the money, I suggest you get a Harmony remote, where you can complete customize it with your PC, and then there is a PS3 Harmony adapter, which will transform the Harmony's IR signals into Bluetooth ones the PS3 can understand....
