Used Vita Memory card

3 replies 121 views Edited Oct 2, 2013

Hello. Im brand new here, well not to playstation. The last PS System I owned was a PS2. Anyway i just got my Vita yesterday i plan on buying a 32 gb memory card from gamestop. I also found one localy on craigslist for $50. Now my question is, will i have any problems using a used memory card. Will i be able to just simply put it in and play and save, or is there some type of re-formating i have to do etc?

All help is apreciated.

Unless some data was left on the card you should be fine. In that case, a simple format of the card should do.

Fabulous!

You should format the card, in any case. Make sure it's ready to use with no glitches.

Formatting is done with the card in the PS Vita Settings.

When you buy a used memory card, your PSV will ask you to format it.

(Obviously, to prevent someone else's information spreading around.)
