There are many, many threads about upgrading your hard drive.  Youtube videos too.

You need a 2.5" SATA laptop drive that is 9.5 millimeters high.

** Use a unique password for your PSN ID - one you don't use anywhere else **
** Engage brain before putting mouth in gear ** ** two-step verification - use it **

If you have PS+ you will need no less than 500GB

Western Digital Scorpio Black 750 GB is a commonly purchased and well-received hard drive for PS3.  I use it myself.

Reviews in reference to use in PS3.

Before purchasing the new HDD, make sure to do a little bit of research and ensure the HDD doesn't have any "energy saving" features, or anything of the sort in it. These "features" have been known to cause problems when used in a PS3 since the drives will shut down after a short period of non-use, and isn't able to get back up and running properly when in a PS3.

Yes, that one should be fine. I haven't heard of any issues that people have posted with that model of hard drive. Smiley Happy
