I suck at all things shooting and am not having a problem with the aiming sustem. Sniping by being able to use the six axis is making me very happy in fact. I actually can line up the shot instead of going too far left, then right, then left, the right of the target.
I got through normal without even finding a "Aim Assist" listing, and more then half way through Hard now.
AS a side note, when I started the hard run through I was actually looking for crushign and could not find it. Do I have to complete hard first?
I agree I have played the demo and it sucks so bad, whenever you move your anolog stick it keeps moving like it lags or my sticks feel broken, unit 13 does not have that problem, glad I did not waist fifty dollars on it.
Honestly I thought aiming was easy and I actually like it better than Unit 13. I got over 300 headshots on my first playthrough on Hard difficulty, and that was surprising to me because I thought it was going to take a while to get used to the smaller analog sticks.
Personally, I find that the controls work just fine. You just can't play it like Uncharted 3 or Gears of War (just throwing in another 3rd person shooter) as the sticks are too small for that kind of accuracy. I find that it's easier to just get my sites up (aim) in the general direction of the enemy and then use the sixaxis sensors to actually line up/fine tune the shot. Using only sticks or only the sensors makes shooting unnessesarily difficult.
Coming from someone who is loves and plays a lot of 3rd person shooters (I'm a hardcore Gears of War 3 player), once you understand exactly how the aiming and cover systems work and work best, the game plays and feels much smoother.
