I just got off the phone with a lovely and very professional customer service rep that was totally useless in solving my problem.
She told me to visit the forums and request a moderator's help.
Well here I am, and this is my story.
I played the Grab the Ring game www.grab-the-ring.com hoping to land these codes for Uncharted 3.
I clocked 1 hr and 55 mins. (beleive me I was mad as hell when the ring just dropped, I swear I didn't move my hand).
Either way I did not recieve any of the codes via email for the prizes I earned.
According to forums of other people playing the game, the codes are usually generated immediately upon reaching the time marker.
Now after being on hold the rep told me to contact the moderators here.... in this forum.
This seemed a little backwards to me, and I told her it seems like a distribution issue not a forum issue.
But she told me if it's game related issue it goes to the forums....
So here I am.
Can you please give me some insight on what is going on, what I can do, and who I should call?
I really want to recieve my prizes for totally wasting my time holding an imaginary ring.
Why Sony's customer service tells people like yourself to come here with these types of issues is beyond me, others may correct me, but I think I'm right in saying that the Mod's here will be able to do little or nothing to assist you with this, they pretty much deal with moderating these Forums, sorry.
P.S. I know it doesn't help you out but there was a very similar Thread to yours not so long ago asking the exact same thing, so I know you're not alone in this.
Im getting to the bottom of all of this today. I have all the contact info of the main website for the contest. So far I've got false advertising on them at the least. Anyone want to chat on standy with me today when I make the calls and emal? We are going to get things straight once and for all...
