Oh, I should have mentioned I was talking about the Cech-3001a I just bought. Should have cleared that up and separated it to make it an entirely different question.

Back on topic though:

Its interesting to see that Sony is coming out with another model that will be more affordable then its predecessors.  I'm just hoping that they do leave the option for customers to expand the memory storage even if it comes the 16gig on board flash memory.

Thats how the 4Gb X360 has it...... 4Gb of onboard storage, and you can still put in a bigger hdd

The eject function looks weird but still cool looking. Sony never knows how to keep things a secret lol

I think it's just pure speculation right now that there will be a sliding door. I'm not sure I like the idea of a sliding door. Also, things get "leaked" all the time. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but information about new products will often "accidently" get leaked because companies will try to build up hype, get free publicity, and gauge people's reactions about products before they release it.

Or it could just be employee's breaking NDA's

It is not Sony's fault, they have to submit paperwork to a Government agency at some point before a product's introduction and it becomes part of a public record...
