Re: New PS3 Slim model pictures leaked... Top loading drive(just as speculated)

If this is completely true and Sony wants this to sell, then one then that must be a MUST is Playstation 2 game compatibility. i mean like put the disc in it will read it and play it. cuz i still have ps2 games that i consider great ones and i dont want to sell them so if sony makes it ps2 compatibable then it would help get this more in the market where it will compete well with all the competitors.

IMO a lower price will be what helps the PS3 sell even more. Now that there are HD remakes and PS2 games on PSN, it is pretty obvious that PS2 BC isn't coming back to the PS3.

I think it does slide because the left side is lower allowing room for the right side to slide over i see what you are saying but if that was the case then i dont think it would look how it does maybe the eject button unlocks it allowing it to slide.

We will have to see. If it slides, it will be a first for me...

Was wondering where the power button was myself, maybe sony came around and will only allow you to turn it on/off with the controller? I know the ps3 always gets mad when you try turning it off with the power button and not through the system PS button.

I'm pretty sure the power button is on the right side of the machine, since the actual photos are so blury, it is difficult to make out...

Looking at it again and remember sony's ways of taking short cuts. It looks more like a power button and I think sony maybe possibly cut out LED lights altogether. Or maybe the buttons light up.

It definately is not wireless n capable. The FCC report only states b & g compatiblity...

That's disappointing & something I really think should be included in ALL wireless products produced now, moving on, the "PS4" or what ever it's to be called should definitely have it.
