Ok so here is the deal. I have the Journey soundtrack on my PS3 and would very much like to burn a copy of it onto either a CD or simply get it onto my laptop. I recently received my license to practice massage therapy and I have a private session tomorrow, and seeing as how I own no meditation CD's, this soundtrack would be a great substitute. I have tried plugging an external harddrive into my ps3 via usb, but it won't recognize it. Every time I try to copy the soundtrack, it just says "Connect storage device to media save destination." I have less than 24 hours to get something together, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have not. The problem is I have a **bleep** ton of stuff on the hard drive and I don't think I have enough room on my laptop to copy backups for all of it. I guess I could pick and choose what I will actually use on it.
There's a program called Swissknife that you can use to format your drive. It's a rather handy utility.
What's good about this program is it can create FAT32 partition on your drive. So you don't have to wipe otu the data completely. Just be careful you don't wipe out anything you want to keep. I have to say that given your circumstances, I would advise you to use a flash drive, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks for the advice! I actually snagged a standard AV cable from a friend so I can just play the music off of the PS3 directly, but I will keep this in mind for the future. Much appreciated!
With all the time you spent asking the question and getting cables from friends, you could have either bought a relaxation CD from a store, or downloaded something from itunes.
