Need help with transferring my data from my fat 80 GB PS3 to my new super slim PS3?

Did your 80GB die before you were able to back up on something other than the HDD? If so, you're screwed. Sorry.

Well no, actually I fixed my Ylod ps3 but the only problem is the internet, wifi and the ethernet port arent working and I was just wanting to transfer my stuff to another PS3, you think I could just back the data up and restore on my new ps3?

Ya, as long as you can access the HDD through the original PS3, just back stuff up via USB stick and transfer it.
