Yes I did. I'd like to wait to get to know you better before I accept though. I like the Resident Evil Series as well as Uncharted. Some RPGs I buy off the PS Store. I like a variety. It'd be quicker to say what I don't like. Racing ,Sports and Shooters like COD. But we're getting off topic now.

Yes put in the HDD and if you have the latest FW saved that would be helpful.

I am not reading anything about you reinstalling the firmware on the new hard drive via CD/DVD or flash media. Only the first few PS3 models can the PS3 auto format the HDD with the necessary firmware. Models like yours, you have to install the firmware manually yourself.

Thanks for helping Logical_Dolphin. Originally it sounded like the HDD wasn't working at all and I know some need jumpers installed. That's why I referred him to you. I don't know which ones need them or which pins to place them on if they are needed.
