i agree. we dont complain enough. whats up with 4v4? screw that party chat thingy. even the psp had better than that . socom was 16 player online and MOH was a whooping 32..insane. i hope sony fix that. maybe someone needs to post that on their share blog. or whatever. KZM is a great game. looks amazing but online gonna be 4v4 smh

I hope there can be a patch for KZM to allow at least 6v6. I know the Vita can handle it. Developers should just use their own voip system rather than the party chat app.

What is everybody's thoughts about the amount of players in an online math on the Vita? Having a maximum of 8 players is not terrible in my opinion, but however I feel that it is a step backward from the PSP.
Sony advertises the Vita as a powerful device, which no doubt has proven so, but why is the online portion inferior to that of many PSP games? For instance, take Medal of Honor 1 and 2 for the PSP. Both games allowed a maximum of 32 players in a map and was not that much laggy at all. There wasn't any voice chat however. Take all the PSP Socom games, except for Tactical strike; they featured 16 player online multi–player with push to talk voice chat. Another great example is Kill zone Liberation. Great game with 12 player online play via patch with push to talk voice chat.
So I'm wondering if it is a developer issue with the Vita or Sony has locked in all voice chat games to support a maximum of 8 players in online play because of the party chat app. If that's the case, developers should be allowed to forgo the use of that app to communicate with other players just like Super bot has done with PSABR.
4v4 isn't a bad thing, but I just hope we can see more shooters or games of different genera support more than 8 players.
Well i think it easier to catch folks if you know what i mean. I aslo think alot folk dont like 16x16 matches . They want faster matches and faster gameplay and 32 player hinder that. Now i love 32 players in a games. but at same time. Some have a old school edge mentality smaller maps + smaller base player which eqaul faster game player. 32 players means bigger maps bigger base player slow gameplay ( which i know is not true for every game) .Which they think makes for longer games and camping, unfair play aswell.
Its just hard debate of styles and likes in my small opinion.

I honestly don't think 4v4 is terrible. I mean look at Halo 4. Yeah it does have other modes to allow more than 4v4 but the mode everyone plays the most, from what I last saw was Infinity Slayer 4v4. Sorry for bringing Xbox to the Sony forums, but it's a popular game and successful nonetheless. I didn't think Black Ops: Declassified was terrible like many others think, however I do agree the game needs bigger maps. What I don't understand is why all fps games are all 4v4. Is it the party app? If it handles 8 players, wouldn't that go into 8v8? I dont understand the use of a party chat unless you want the enemy to hear you out. Xbox has an 8 player party chat, just like the Vita. Yet I don't understand why the vita has limits to 4v4. But like others have stated, psp went into 32 player matchmaking. I hope this does fix soon. I'm deffinately more of a bigger is better type of person. But I really don't hate 4v4. I guess I'm just mixed feelings. ![]()
