Re: The ULTIMATE ultimate guide to fixing your NAT

Hi I have a Linksys N router. I have all those settings that you suggested already. I only have not fowered those ports that is because I also have a 360 and a wii hooked up to the router. If I fowererd those ports for the PS3 will it affect my other systems(360,Wii) network settings. I dont want to screw up anything.

Re: The ULTIMATE ultimate guide to fixing your NAT

Jg101987- I looked at your post and then I went to port fowarding dot com. I have a300wrt n router. I went to port fowarding and they had differernt settings than yours.

You have  PS3 A 80-80 tcp 23 enable, PS3 B 443-443 Tcp 23 enable,PS3 c 5223-5223 both 23 enable, PS3D 3478-3478 upd upd 23 enable, 3479-3479upd 23 enable, 3658-3658 upd 23 enable. Port fowarding has 80-80 both enable,443-443 both enable,5223-5223 both enable,3478-3479 both enable, 3658-3658 both enable.

Why did port fowarding combine 3478 and 3479 . Also they leave the box blank(dont use 23) and the use both for all the open ports. Should I use theirs because I have linksys n or should i use yours even though you posted for linksys g routers.

Re: The ULTIMATE ultimate guide to fixing your NAT

I need some help.  I have searched and searched and tried a couple different tuturials to get my PS3 back to NAT 2 where it used to be and still can't seem to get it working.

I have a Netopia 3347NWG-006 router.  I have forwarded each port (I figured out that they are called pinholes on my router) and set up the PS3 with a static IP (I used 192.168.1.250 instead of 192.168.1.23)

I do not have DMZ on my router and I don't know what else to do.

Here are a couple screenshots of my routers menu, maybe you can tell me if I did something wrong:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
