Re: The Ps3 controllers

Jul 15, 2005
Because please explain to me how Sony has improved the DS2?
,
-Analog Sticks are the same (look at them).
,
-DPad is still the same.
,
-Buttons changed.
,
-Shoulder buttons are smaller and closer together.
,
I don't see any real improvements, especially how they will benefit me for FPS' and Racing titles.
,

,
I know this because I can see. Look at the analog sticks on the DS2, and then look at the analog sticks on the new controller. Apart from them being closer together, and possibly smaller, they are practically they same.
,

,
They have not added a trigger button...are we really looking at the same controller?
,

,
I'm sure they would too. But when a lot of people dislike the controller design, then you know something is wrong.
,

,
Alright, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and say that it's more comfortable. Tell me how this is going to improve the controls on racing/fps titles?
,

,
I said I won't buy the console until there are third party controllers that I like out on the market if Sony doesn't change the design. I like Sony. I like the PS3, the features, and the games announced very much. But the only thing that I do not like is the controller. (and the fact that Sony is not giving much information on its online service)

,You can't tell what they're made of by looking at them.
,
,
-DPad is still the same.
,
,There was nothing wrong with the D-Pad.
,
,
-Buttons changed.
,
,No buttons have changed.
,
,
-Shoulder buttons are smaller and closer together.
,
,But they're longer

,
,I never said they have triggers for sure,,but we haven't seen the bottom side of the controller yet so we can't,be 100% sure.  The closest we've seen is this.
,

I honestly doubt that even Sony hasn't finalized their online plans.

,

Yes  you can, they look exactly the same as the PS2 analog sticks.

,

It's very uncomfortable after a while.

,

The buttons have changed. They are now jewel-encased.

,

And smaller and closer together...

,

Yes we can. I've seen E3 pics, they aren't triggers.

,

Very behind Sony is.

,

,

All I want, is a controller like that of the Xbox 360, or something like the DS2. Either of those I'd be happy with, but not the banana/boomerang. You're not going to change my opinion, so why bother argue with me.

,This is a problem, why?

Yes we can. I've seen E3 pics, they aren't triggers.

Then show me a pic of the bottom side of the controller.
