Re: The PS Vita Topic Round Up Thread.

I have a very important question that I need solved.

I'm in NA, so I obviously don't get as many good free PS+ Vita games as the people in PAL regions.

Is there any way to get these free PAL vita games onto my NA Vita? How would I do it, if so?

Unless you create an EU account and buy a PS+ subscription for said account then no. There isn't. Contents are regional and bound to your account~.

Getting a Vita tomorrow! It's a decent bundle - VIta, 16gb card, 10 games voucher (includes LBP, Wipeout and some others). I think I'll give Soul Sacrifice a go first Smiley Happy

The only thing that depresses me is the lack of remote play enabled games for the PS3. If the PS4 could play PS3 stuff with remote play I'd buy one asaply, but as it is there's no games on the PS4 that I'm interested in.

playstation store suggestions for the vita.

-  it would be great to be able to purchase a ps3 game from my vita.  you would get me in the store more frequently if i could do it from a handheld instead of having to fire up the console.  about this time of year you get me in the store pretty regularly with sales, etc..  shortly after my interest wanes and as much as i would like to be on top of things, i'm just not.  in the summer i'm busy making money.  i have time for a round of tetris in the morning before i'm off and running.  if i could access and purchase games easier, you would get more of that money.  this would help get your product to me easier during a time when i have more disposable income and less free time to spend browsing games to purchase.

-  the option to receive a notification when the store updates.  you would get me in the store more often if i were reminded to come check out the new content.

PAL stand for Phase Alternating Line which is a television colour encoding system.  PS Vitas, from any region, does not use this.

This is Ryuu ga Gotoku Ishin which comes out 2014 02 22 in Nihon.

Watch the video at one part (9:04~9:41) they show the PS Vita which looks like it has a port to export video.

PS Now and PS Vita

Jan 10, 2014

With PS Now coming to PS Vita the 1000 series will have a problem.  For PS3 games that use the L2/R2 and L3/R3 the rear touch screen will be used.  For those that have played Fifa this is not news to you.  The way you hold the PS Vita you tend to touch the rear pad all the time.  This messes up the game play very often.

The PS Vita 2000 has reduced the size of the rear touchpad.

With the PS4 launch in 2014 02 22 and the TBA of PS Now the answer to if and when the PS Vita 2000 branches out of Nihon will become more clear to Sony.
