The rear speakers on my 5.1 sound system are wireless. Thats the transmitter that sends the signals to the rears. It doesnt actually light up like that though, just an effect from the camera.

Oh right. It's also a Sony brand mounted laser cannon that takes out anyone who tries to go near the TV.
