I would really like to immerse myself into this game but I'm have trouble with the head tracking. An tips for background lighting or anything to help the camera to track my big head would be great.

use 2 lights or brightest light u have

I will try my work lights, but I don't think the wife will let me keep them in the living room, probably won't match the decor,lol.

Sometimes a while bunch of natural light works best for lighting purposes, just make sure the lens isnt hit with it directly. Sometimes background noise gets you too.
