7 replies 132 views Edited Jan 4, 2013
Someone hacked my ps3 (I got that problem out of the way) But when ever I try to play a game or buy one it says "This ps3 system could not be activated to .This content cannot be used" And that it says "you account already has 2 ps3 systems activated for this game content" What do I do? Was it "hacked"? Or did you give out your password attempting to game share?

Follow the directions here;

It's important that when you reactivate your current system, you change your password and DO NOT GIVE IT TO ANYONE.

As of November 2011 you are only allowed TWO systems on one account.

I can't help but think there's something you're not telling us. Deactivate the systems that you aren't using, and get it down to the one system you are using. Then change your password. Then DO NOT GIVE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE.

This is not because your account got hacked.... the PSN has many security measures in place to prevent stolen accounts. Not even social engineering will do.

If you "got hacked" you knowingly gave someone access to your account

Go here http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/ sign in, and click on account, then media and devices, and click on what you want to deactivate, and click on deactivate all. That will deactivate all devices connected to your account. This can be done once every 6 months.

In the future remember do not ever give out your account info to anyone.
