Do you all remeber,NURBS, those things rumored to have been in the original Killzine but, weren't in there. Anyway they add curves to a model so you don't get, that Pencil or cone head look. I wonder will they be used on PS3

They don't add curves, they add better polygonal approximations of curves.

Oh no, paint. It, is just, paint. On the grounf. Start focussing on more important things than a small, straight edge please.
,

Edit: When you play the game, will that straight edge throw you off? If you crash because of the curve, you need to take a break from video games.

That,is a good point though. This hardware should be,plenty powerful enough to do really good approximations of curves,(WAAAY better than those screenshots), but I'm quite sure these are, just "quickies" using current generation modeling to make content for,the show(s) (for instance, look at how poor the Eyedentify textures are).

The ps2 and psp can do curves. Why? Because ps2 and psp can do nurbs,,which means you can have a curved line instead of polygons. Its hard to,explain, but you can make a ball with like 6 nurbs and have it be a,perfect round ball, with polygons, it'll take alot of polygons to make, the ball look completely round.  Its up to the dev to use it.,Thats all I know.

I was reading an article the other day, I can't remember where, but they were talking about the upcoming consoles reaching a polygons per pixel stage as opposed to the pixels per polygon we see now.
