Sony lied about preloading Destiny.

So I was on PSN today after the hack to make sure nothing was wrong with my account and I noticed that in my download section the Destiny queue went from 9\7 to 9\9 at midnight PST. I went back and checked the PSN page and sure enough, same thing.  So I reached out to Sony support and was told that Destiny was never slated for Pre-load to the system.  So I sent him a link http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/18/pre-order-pre-load-upcoming-ps4-games//.  After a minute or so he came back with "I have no information about this at this time".  it is 2 weeks away and the game has gone gold...how is it that SONY does not know what to do about the pre-loading?  I went back and searched the web and shortly after Destiny got it's 9\9 street date the original pre-load date was the 4th.  So not the only benefit to going digital has been taken away.  I for one am getting titer of putting up with the lies and will be gong back to Discs.

they probably didnt have the securities in place to stop people from playing it once it downloaded..new system..new kinks to work out I suppose...though they always do try to cover things up instead of just coming out saying why they cant do something they said they were doing.

Maybe it's an error and you're the first person to notice.

So then if it is not "broken" then it would appear to be a straight lie.

We don't have any information on it. The best can we say say is wait and see. If I come across anything, I will let you know.

I wish it was an error, if it were then I would hope the Sony guy would say that their system shows the pre-load date and that he would look into the error.  I have no info at this time seems a lot like we srcapped it and we hope you don't notice!

This may surprise you, but the guy on the phone most likely wouldn't have access to see if it's an error. Saying "I have no information at this time" is standard. He most likely didn't want to give you the wrong answer. I've worked in retail, and I have told this people before, because I just didn't have an answer.
