Sony Personal 3D Viewer

2 replies 60 views Edited Feb 2, 2012

This accessory is quite cool I personally have one and it makes for a great experience playing 3D/Movies or 3D/Games as long as the source has an HDMI connection it works. Playing my PS3 with it is like your in the game.

Pros:

1] Its like having a 150 inch screen right infront of your face.

2] HDMI enabled so the picture is outstanding.

3] 3D auto detect (if what your viewing has 3D support it will auto detect it and display in 3D).

4] Integrated on-screen menu very customizable.

5] Outstanding sound from the built in ear-phones.

6] Comfortable fit.

7] Easy to setup.

Cons:

1] Price is somewhat high.

2] Can not adjust both the lens separately.

3] For someone like me I can only use it for 30-40min before my eyes just can't take it anymore.

All and all a fun toy/experience to have.

I'd really like to try it, but at $800 I know I wouldn't buy it.  Maybe if I had no TV, speakers already it would be worth it.

Rather spend that money on a 1080p projector and get a 100"+ screen and some are even 3D compatible
