I'd say probably. The PS4 still has USB ports so... I don't see why not. If it doesn't I'm screwed. But... the presence of USB ports leads me to believe it'll still work.

I can see why the controller wouldn't work but I think audio will be a different story. There are also a lot of other headphones that depend on things like USB to work such as my Astro A40's which need USB for chat. My only concern would be this controller jack. Will it be the only way to get chat on the PS4? I would probably be covered since I would probably just need a 3.5 adaptor for my 2.5 Xbox 360 chat cable. I would say worse case scenerio is you might have to buy some kind of clip on mic like the Zalman Zm1 and figure out a way to rig it to your headphones.

The PlayStation Pulse Elite Edition should definitely work for the PlayStation 4. I own this headset, along with the older PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset (which was changed to PlayStation Pulse reg. edition), and both work very well with the PC (both my desktop and laptop.)

If you're looking into getting the Pulse Elite, you should feel satisfied in knowing that every part of the Pulse that works on the PS3 works flawlessly on the PC!

But I think the concern is the chat cable on the controller. If they make this controller jack mandatory for chat, the Pulse and many other wireless headphones will not work.

I think thats only going to be for the headset that Sony will include with every PS4. Much in the same way if you spend $300+ on an X360, it will come with a cheapo wired headset... it even uses the same 2.5mm jack for it as well

According to an email I received about my preorder from Amazon, the Pulse Elite will be compatible with the PS4.

As long as the PS4 allows for USB headsets, most likely. If the PS4 requires headsets to be "Chipped" to where the console will detect if its official or generic, then no.
