I had posted how Sof Studios was stealing Sony's Socom franchise in one of my other post and i stand by that. So please someone please actually define what is the difference from a spiritual succes and how that is not copyright infringment.

Considering the former creative director of the SOCOM series is part of Sof, I'm not surprised.
Sony probably only has the rights to the SOCOM franchise itself. Not the gameplay or anything like that.
The same way Keiji Inafune (creator of Mega Man) can make his game, Mighty No. 9 (which looks and plays exactly like mega man), but since he's not using the Mega Man name (which Capcom owns), he can make it
Everything gameplay lobbys everything is identical to Socom2, and there getting away with it.
So, everything that contains gameplay lobbies is violating copyright laws? Good god, man. CoD, BF4, MAG... how the hell did all these other companies get away with it (and continue to do so).
Perhaps someone shouldn't trust a law degree acquired from a gumball machine.
Seriously, you need to let it go. SOCOM IS DEAD. Get over it. It ain't coming back. If you choose to ignore everyone's attempt at bringing it back in some form, even if it's only a shadow of its former self, absolutely refusing to even give it a chance, that is on YOU, and YOU ALONE.
