So did sony cut back being able to "re-use" your downloadable games on 5 systems ?

7 replies 90 views Edited Nov 22, 2011

If so ?

Where do I check where my system is activated I haven't seen anything, was this true or not ?  I heard SONY was changing from 5 too 2 systems activated viva psn downloadable games, if this is true I think it could do away with drm-wise for psn, plus I would like to remove my ylod system from my account, that would be nice.  Any information would be nice.

In other words, I trying to find out about Sony changing from 5 activated systems to only 2, and I would like to deactivate my broken system soon.

Sorry if anything is typed wrong IE8 on this site is WAY slow.....

Yes you can only have 2 activated since the 18th. Anything purchased before then is still available on 5. You can use the qriocity.com site to deactivate your YLOD PS#.

From what I have seen you can't deactivate a broken PS3 on that site just yet, hopefully it will come soon...

Thanks for that, Sony site still states that you can't deactivate with a PC, which I am sure is going to confuse a lot of people...

I am so glad that we can now deactivate our PS3's through a PC now. So now I never have to worry about losing an activation if something happens to my PS3!

Captain already posted that link above. You can deactivate all consoles every 6 months...
