So after almost a year of ownership,
and countless hours and days spent enjoying the experience, I have been getting slowly let down by Polyphony's greed and "phony"ness.

Update after update have diminished the quality of

Gran Turismo 5 and it's contents.

Where the hell are all the new DLCs? New cars that have since debuted in this dimension within the past year, I was under the assumption that every 2-3 months there would be cars added to gt.

Too bad Forza's childish arcade feel literally bores me after 10 minutes, THEY HAVE ALL THE CARS AND TRACKS.

IT's been months and months but nothing except gtacademy bull (which I surprisingly placed 916th.)

Now with GT6 on the horizon, it seems 5 will be put out to pasture, so I decided to expedite the process!

End all this video gaming nonsense and go outside for a bit.

You are someone who didn't think things through. You could have given your PS3 to someone who might not have had one any other way! You ruined it for no real reason than it needed the updates.

I would've done the same if I was playing a PS3 on a 15 inch tube TV. You should have been outside to begin with using that setup, have fun.

I do applaud the "safety first" thinking, having the water ready in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

As far as GT though, I stopped buying them after GT3, because the only things that ever seemed to change were the graphics and a few, not many, new cars.  The tracks have pretty much been the same thing, and only the difficulty level has increased.

Back to the money issue; it is nice to see, not everyone is concerned about the price of gas.  You must of wasted about $1.00 worth of gas.  Additionally, why did the grass have to suffer?

I have to agree with some on the thread, you could have given it away.  Even more, you could have traded it in at a store for credit towards a Crap Box or something.

Seriously, you got $300.00 you want to throw my way?  Just don't burn it before you send it.  You can't spend burnt money.

I would tend to think that the OP's internet connection is probably an issue.

Who says GT6 is on the horizon? If it happens it probably won't be until well after the PS4 is released.
