Should PlayStation get the feature: Pay for name change?

5 replies 152 views Edited Nov 28, 2012

HI! .. HI
This has been bugging me for a long time now. Since I am an old PlayStation fanboy, I have my childhoods PlayStation Online ID and I would really want to change it. I know you can create a new ID and start from the beginning once again, however I do not want to loose all my saves, trophies, PSN and PS+ downloads.

My suggestion is that we make Sony create a feature so you could pay a little amount to change your Online ID. I believe Microsofts Xbox have this feature with Xbox points. I would really apprecaite if Sony started doing the same.

What are your thoughts?

Wouldn't mind it. I think the Xbox is far superior compared to the ps3 when it comes to online. They need to copy some of the things that the xbox does right and that is one of them.

dosn't matter how much it's mentioned, it's a dead horse only if we shut up about it.

I love PS3 much more than my 360, and it saddens me every time I load up the MS product and see so many features that are just plain ole better.

it's as if the Xbox Live staff are reading all of these comments and making sure that their product delivers what SONY will not.

we just got a huge PS update and no significant changes, for instance.

I still like the PS more, as indicated by my name (Ex fan of xbox) but I'm embarrased that xbox still does some things better.

that is not a dead horse because it is real dollars going to a competitor's product.  tell the board of directors at sony that revenue problems are a dead horse!  LOL

I think Playstation should get the "Pay for name change" feature. I would not use it, but based on the number of threads asking for it, Sony would make a ton of money from it.
