Before, I'd suggest updating to the latest firmware from Linksys, but Linksys has removed all of the old firmware updates from their website. Try a third-party firmware like Tomato or DD-WRT instead.

We have a Linksys WRT 54gs,and spent more than a day trying to figure out why we could not get on the internet, come to find out all we had to do was update the firmware, and now it works just fine.

Thanks for the post I'll do that later. I thought it was odd that the latest updated was from 2009. And as for hashbuble, you are my hero. My connection was flawless for a long time then suddenly stopped working (for my PS3s) about a week ago. I don't know what happened but I'm glad I can play online again.
