Here's my situation...
My harddrive has just started having corruption problems... I was thinking of subscribing to PS+ so that my saves can be automatically backed up...
However, there is one other user account on my PS3 that I would like kept backed up also... This is not a sub-account, it has its own PSN login going to its own email...
I would be the only one subscribing to PS+... Would the other user's saves be backed up also since they are on my PS3? Or is only the subscriber's saves backed up?
And if only my account would be backed up, is there a way that I could make the other account into a sub-account? Would they be backed up then?
Am I completely misunderstanding everything?
Thanks for your help...

the simple and unfortunatley bad answer is only the account with plus can back up saves to the cloud-- sub or not makes no diffrence

Hey thanks for the answers... It almost sounds like I'd be better off putting the money for the PS+ membership towards getting an external drive and just doing a system backup... if I understand correctly, that will backup EVERYTHING...

The Back Up utility will back up copy protected saves but they are only usable on the system that made the back up. If you back up to an external then restore to a different system they won't be there. If you make a back up and restore to the same system they will be there.
Additionally there is no way to make the other account into a sub-account. Once an account is made that's it. No take backs. ![]()
