Running speedtest.net on PS3

3 replies 915 views Edited Mar 31, 2011

When I try to go to this website in the browser, it gives me some random statements saying I don't have javascript or I don't have flash, or maybe I do and I need to reinstall them.

I click on the option to run the program anyway, and I get a seizure inducing, repeating and random set of screen that looks like the actual website, but always culminates in "error - run test" which disappears before I can click on the run test button.

Everyone else seems to be able to use this website on their PS3, what's going on with mine?

The site requires th latest version of flash which the PS3 doesn't have. It can only be updated my Sony through a system update .

Try the Internet Connection Test in the PS3 Network Settings. The indicated speeds will be less optimistic than they would appear on a web browser on a PC.
