I just got my 80gb PS3 (40 USB Port) fixed after it got the YLOD. When I got it back, it worked perfecrly except it thinks there is a disc in the drive. When I touch the eject button, I get the normal beep, but the blue light flashes longer than usual. If I go to put a game in the PS3, it feels like there's something blocking the disc from going in and I can see something but I have no idea what it is. Does anyone know how I can fix this by Tuesday when Black Ops II comes out?

There could be many things wrong. It could be that the repair place did not re-set the drive correctly if they opened the blu-ray drive up. They could have not put the correct blu-ray drive back in, left something unplugged etc. I had a PS3 get fixed from the YLOD before, only to experience the same thing you are. Turns out that my motherboard had something else go wrong besides the normal causes of the YLOD and was not repairable....the repair place sent me back a different PS3.....which eventually got the YLOD even though it was supposably re-balled. I just ended up buying a slim...
Contact the place that you had fix your PS3, and see if they are wiling to work with you. I assume the drive was working correctly before you sent it in, and therefore, they should be willing to do something about it. Either troubleshoot it for you and fix it, or simply refund your money. Either way they need to be notified.
P.S. I had the same model that you do
